Teardrops in every colour....

 Well not quite but I'm trying!  I love these briolettes and now have over 30 different colours/ sizes to play with.  They are great for everyday wear and are also popular as bridesmaid jewellery.  I like wire wrapping them with sterling silver wire, the end result is worth the extra time it takes =)

The matte aqua blue and matte teal green colours that I've just added to the collection, have a great sea glass look that I love. 

These are another new favorite.  These opal light teal green beauties are both translucent and semi opaque, as I've tried to show with this photo.  No two earrings are exactly the same, which I like =)

Keeping it Simple with Linen Thread....

 Yay I took some picture's, granted the sunshine was kind of missing, but let's focus on the positive!

 I made these simple necklaces for the school summer fair using the lovely waxed Irish linen thread and other materials including freshwater pearls, Czech glass beads and shell beads.

 Unfortunately I didn't take picture's before selling some of these lovelies as I do like to have a visual record of everything I make.

They look lovely worn individually or combined =)

Looking for a Rainbow....

It's been hot 24 - 7 until the rain came today with thunder and lightning.  And in between the rain showers if the sun comes out maybe you would of seen a rainbow.  There's always something magical about seeing a rainbow and my children love spotting them. But today I went looking for rainbows on Etsy, created by my talented team mates and other Etsyians and here are some of the lovely finds I found =)

So what jewellery does a jewellery maker wear?......

 And the answer was this combination today.  Here are two necklaces that I've kept and today I wore them together, as I think the colours really work well together.

 What clothes was I wearing you may be wondering?  A simple navy vest and dark jeans.

I have small blue apatite earrings to match the necklace, I wear simple earrings more often then not =)

Little pond turtle necklace......

I still need to get better picture's of this necklace, but I thought I'd let you have a peek at it =)

This lovely pond turtle is made of fine silver and is fair trade, isn't it cute!  The beads you can see are mostly are gorgeous blue Kyanite, these stones are just beautiful!  Once I've got some better picture's you'll be able to see the lampwork beads that are very similar in colour to the Kyanite, they add to the whole aquatic nature of the necklace =)
