Charmed....

I just realized that there were no pictures of my beloved charm bracelets on my blog, so to fix that here's a couple of pic's of one of my favorite one's thats had lots of use over the years =)
As you can see I've used lovely Karen Hill Tribe silver charms and beads in crafting this bracelet.  The theme of this bracelet is the oceans and seas, from your tropical waters to the cold British seas.  I love them all!

Pearls Glorious Pearls....

I've been going through my collection of pearls, it's been a while since I've really used them and I have collected over a kilo of them (is that a lot?) in various shapes, sizes and colours, so it seems like its time to get them out and use them.

I have plans to make a Ocean themed necklace using some artisan lampwork beads that I've bought from Etsy and they are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!  I'm going to have a mixture of pearls complementing the focal beads colours so I'm looking forward to starting that soon.  But in the mean time I've been making some simple earrings in a rainbow of colours, so here are a few pictures of the lovely's.

The only one......

I only ever made one of these earrings, its partner was never crafted, due to the fact that I'd become a new mother and well I'm guessing baby became more active, so I only got round to making the one.  I used to wear a lot of Peruvian fair trade earrings, that had been bought in the little church shop, I think it was, in front of Edinburgh Castle, so I'd say that was where I got my inspiration from.

Well it's been nearly 20 years since I made this earring and its nice to still have it.  If I remember rightly the chips and beads are Cape Amethyst, bought in Covent Garden and the wire is sterling silver.

Waiting for the sun to shine.....

So that I could take some more pictures in natural day light.  Everytime there's been a hint of clear sky's, I've been grabbing my camera to take some pictures, only problem is that the clouds have not been overly obliging!

But still I've managed to get some pictures taken and list them in my Etsy shop.

So here are a few of the pictures for your viewing pleasure =)

Time to get blogging....

Well it's been a while since I've  blogged here.  I've been looking at our gray London sky's, praying for some sunshine so I'd be able to take some pic's.  I've managed to take a few, when there's been the odd clear sky =)

I've started listing some new jewellery in my Etsy shop as a result, but I think I'd better eat something now, as one can only live on tea and coffee for so long.......

so here's a pic of a necklace I will be listing, I need to order some thicker wire so that I can make some more soon =)
