Fossil Beach......

Couldn't you look at these beads and visualize them as part of a crumbling sedimentary rock face that's been eroded by time and the elements.  The type you might see as you walk along a beach were you might find fossils, seaglass and shells.......

These beautiful beads were made by Sue Doran, a British Lampwork Bead artisan.  The original version of these beads was inspired by her experience whilst on holiday in Northumberland.  She had been reading "Walks on the Northumberland Coast" by David Haffey and happened to find one of the Hag-Stones which are thought to be good luck, that he had described in his book.

Well I've teamed these lovelies with nautilus and some of my favorite solid faceted beads, in fine silver which are Karen Hill Tribe and Fair trade.

I took these pictures at sunset, but I think the lighting still shows the colours and detail well enough for me to post them =)
